4/29/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:

  • I don't ask you for much, but I am going to ask you for something. If there is any way you can find it in your heart or in your budget to donate a couple of bucks to help the victims of the devastating tornadoes in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, please contact the local Red Cross. As many of you know, my wife, Princess is from Alabama. She's from Hueytown which is about halfway between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. While Hueytown was spared major damage, Pleasant Grove, slightly northwest of it wasn't. Please, do what you can. Princess says thanks.
  • Last nig, ht on American Idol, Casey was kicked to the curb. Also,it was Michael Scott's last day at "The Office."
  • "Twilight Saga" and "Nurse Jackie" star Peter Facinelli will be at Memorial Mall tomorrow at noon to sign autographs, take pictures and raise money for "Alex's Lemonade Stand" Foundation. I had a chance to talk to Peter about it. We'll post the interview sometime over the weekend.

  • WEB ONLY CONTENT: Back by popular demand, here's your morning Chuck: While Warner Brothers, the studio that produces "Two and ½ Men" says ****** ****** is done, Charlie's lawyers think otherwise. They are seeking a public trial into Charlie's dismissal. That's not Charlie's only legal problem. He's still trying to get custody of his twins from ex-wife Brooke Mueller, who is currently in rehab. Ex-wife Denise Richards is willing to lend a hand. Finally, Charlie was in Washington DC recently and took a few subtle verbal shots at the President and perhaps hinted at a run of his own.
  • In honor of the upcoming Royal Wedding, Papa John's has commissioned "the Royal Wedding Pizza." It's a pizza with a portrait of William and Kate i, n, pizza ingredients. You'll just have to look at the picture. This was a one shot work of art and is not something you can order.
  • Kohler has a luxury toilet that costs almost $6,400. Among the features, it automatically closes and raises the adjustable-height toilet cover when it senses your presence, greets you with the sound of rushing water and soothing piano music, has a night light that guides you to the heated seat and has a floor-level vent which acts as a foot warmer. Honestly, if I could afford something like this, I'd probably keep it in a glass case in the living room.
  • Continuing her rags to riches story, singer Susan Boyle has been immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.
