5/31/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- A couple of ice cream vendors in Pennsylvania are being told to cool it by police or risk losing their permits. Ice cream turf wars. Could this be the newest nighttime show on Food Network?
- You might want to rethink stopping and picking up your morning coffee at a coffee shop or convenience store. If you saved all the money you spent at the coffee shop over a year, you could afford a very expensive coffee maker.
- Greg Anderson dropped by with "Money Talks Tips and Traps." Today, Greg talked about charitable do, nations and how you better be able to prove to the IRS the true amount of your gifts. Listen to this morning's segment or any other segment here.
5/30/11-Awesome day today. We moved recently and I spent my day getting the surround sound hooked up. I also figured out the cable guy didn't hook up our HD TV up right, so I went and got an adapted to fix that. And, I grilled out last night. It's always a good day when you accomplish a lot on a holiday! And speaking of accomplishing a lot, thanks to our troops around the world for what they do and to all who have served, including my dad who was an army staff sgt. in WW II.
5/29/11-What a wacky day of racing. In the Indy 500, a guy had one more turn left before victory lane and he crashed his car into the wall while another driver passed him. In the Coca Cola 500, Dale Earnhardt Junior had an opportunity to win his first race in three years and ran out of gas on the last turn.
5/28/11-Thanks to all of the folks who joined us at the Washington Avenue Kwik-Trip location in Manitowoc. We've got two mo, re stops on the tour, Friday on Meadow Lane in Manitowoc and Saturday on North 8th Street in Manitowoc.

- Two huge TV events were on the radar yesterday. The first was the final new show for talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. After 25 years, Oprah is pulling the plug on her syndicated talk show. Here's how she said goodbye yesterday. Oprah may be gone, but her minions live on. Here are some people and things Oprah discovered along the way (including an annoying shrink from Texas.) - The Presidential vehicle, a.k.a. "The Beast" got hung up in Ireland the other day. And not in traffic.
- Hines Ward may not be able to beat the Packers in the Super Bowl, but he had enough to beat out Kirstie Alley in "Dancing With The Stars."

- A man stole an 18 pack of beer from a Florida convenience store. When arrested, he told the police that he took it "to get women."
- Some great TV over the weekend. Saturday Night Live with Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga was good from start to finish. Last night, there were the Billboard Awards, the finale of the "Celebrity Apprentice" won by Country music star John Rich and a pretty good Jesse Stone Mystery with Tom Selleck in the title role.
- Who is the top earner in American Idol History? Carrie Underwood.

- The director of the CIA has written a pointed memo to his staff which reminds them that discussing how the CIA t, ook down Osama Bin Laden with the media endangers lives and could result in legal penalties. The memo was leaked to the AP.
- Last night on "American Idol", it was Hailey's turn to go home.
- Who is the most powerful celebrity according to Forbes Magazine? No, not Oprah.
5/19/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- An elderly citizen became frustrated with a group of rude skateboarders. So, he learnt them some manners. With his shotgun. Unfortunately, he hit one of them in the leg, rather than scaring them as he had planned. The moral of the story? Aim high.
- What are the most sleepless cities in the US?
5/18/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- If you've ever been around one of those people having a loud, public cell phone conversation, this might make you smile. A woman was kicked off an Amtrack train and arrested for disorderly conduct after she refused to end a loud cell phone conversation even after being asked by train staff not to use her cell phone. Call it a victory for all of us who get annoyed by people who willfully disregard the rights of others.
- Last night on "Dancing With the Stars", the Karate Kid got waxed off.

- Lots of Hollywood news this morning. Mary Hart is working her last week on ET. She's leaving after 29 years. After 45 years, Jerry Lewis is retiring from the MDA telethon. And Seth MacFarlane, the br, ains behind "Family Guy", "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show" has finally purchased the rights to "The Flintstones" and plans a reboot. In this version, Fred and Wilma live next door to Lois and Peter, Stewie has the hots for Pebbles and Brian plots to kill Dino.

- A woman from Pennsylvania has settled a lawsuit with Disney which claimed that Donald Duck groped her while she was visiting Epcot Center. She also alleged the same about Goofy, but he got off due to diminished capacity.
- Random Lake's Andrea Boehlke was eliminated on the final episod, e of "Survivor" last night. Boston Rob, who had been 0-5 on reality shows, finally pulled off a victory.

- In Anderson, IN Police arrested two men and a juvenile after they reportedly stole three boxes of bacon from a store’s freezer. The men are in jail, charged with takin' bacon.
- Last night on American Idol, it was so long to metal rocker James Durbin.
- Want to lose weight? Consumer Reports says your best bet is Jenny Craig.
5/12/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- So, you wore a ridiculous hat to the royal wedding. Do you a) put it in a closet b) donate it to Goodwill or c) auction it off on eBay.&nbs, p; If you said C, you win.
- Here are 25 manners your child should know by age nine. Most likely they will forget them by the time they enter college.
- A dog figured out a way to escape a vet's office. It's a pretty cool story. Make sure your dog doesn't read it.
5/11/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- Ramie Marston is an identity thief and is apparently very, good at what she does. While under house arrest, she seduced her roommate's friend, forged his signature on divorce papers and charged a diamond ring to his estranged wife. She also stole credit cards information and spent money on items like home goods, pizza, gas, drug store items and to pay a $9,693 debt. She's back in jail where a judge has ordered that she get nowhere near a computer. Sounds like she needs to join the team on "Leverage."
- Romeo, Romeo, where fore art thou, Romeo? Kicked to the curb on "Dancing with the Stars."
- Patti from St. Nicholas Hospital joined us to talk about a big event they are having on May 21st. You can turn your used medical equipment (crutches, collars, walkers, commodes, etc) to help people around the world.

- One of Hollywood's most celebrated and longest lasting marriages has hit the rocks. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have announced their separation shortly after their 25th wedding anniversary.
- Donna Douglas, who played Elly May, Clampett on the "Beverly Hillbillies" is suing toy maker Mattel over a Barbie doll she says looks like her. Okay, her 45 years ago.

5/6/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- Beware of any e-mails or Facebook solicitations you get that want to show you death pictures of Osama Bin Laden. It's probably spam and probably from someone who wants your personal information. My wife, Princess, got one the other day and it got posted all over her friends Facebook pages (including mine!) On Facebook, never share your information and your friends information with anyone wanting permission to access it. Chances are, they are trolling info.
- Last night on American Idol, Jacob was sent home.
- What's America's favorite TV show? According to a recent Harris poll, NCIS. That's followed by CSI, M*A*S*H, Two and ½ Men and Seinfeld.
5/5/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- WEB ONLY CONTENT: It's your morning Chuck. Charlie says he'll be back with a new show if he's not allowed to return to 2½ Men. Let's hope it's better than his "Torpedo, of Truth" tour.
- Very soon, the state of Wisconsin may have an official dessert. Of course it's the cream puff!
- A former New York police officer is changing his vanity plates to reflect Osama Bin Laden's updated status (that would be dead.)
- Singer Keith Urban is helping a Wisconsin shop owner get back what is rightfully hers.
5/4/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- A Pizza delivery guy in Brooklyn doesn't get made at people who are low tippers, he gets even with them. He's calling out lousy tippers on his blog.
- Last night, on "Dancing With The Stars", former Playboy Bunny Kendra Wilkinson w, as sent packing. Also, the cast of Glee paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac by singing songs from Mac's mega hit album "Rumors."
- Susie from St. Nicholas Hospital told us about some programs St. Nick's is hosting for "National Women's Health Week," which is celebrated next week. Monday night's program is about hearth health. Tuesday's program is a program for mothers and daughters that deals with changes during puberty.
5/3/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- WEB ONLY CONTENT: It's back, because we have news. If's your morning Chuck! Charlie is now a free man as his divorce to Brooke Mueller is now final. That isn't preventing Charlie from being charitable. He's raised $20,000 to help a Giants fan severely beaten at Dodger Stadium and he is doing his part to help tornado ravaged Alabama.
- A township in New Jersey has passed some pretty specific rooster mating laws. I didn't even realize there were roosters in New Jersey. Except the "Situation."
- If you are in the process of a divorce, be careful what you put on your Facebook page. Divorce attorneys are using them against people in court.

5/1/11-Here's what we talked about this morning:
- The 10 year manhunt for Osama Bin Laden has ended with Bin Laden getting what he deserved...a bullet in the head. Sorry, don't expect me to feel bad. Hats off to the Seals who pulled this off.
- If you steal someone's credit cards, it might be a good idea not to check with the credit card company to make sure they still work.
- Plans to rename a Green Bay Street after Packer's coach Mike McCarthy have hit a snag in a city council committee. It seems that they can't agree on which street they want to rename. If it up to me, I'd rename Brett Favre Pass.
