4/30/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• A man in Naperville IL was stopped by police for going 111 miles an hour.  After he was arrested, they asked him why he was driving so fast. Turns out, the man was on his way to a booty call.  That must be some booty call.
• The Discovery Network has crashed a 727 in Mexico simulating an actual plane crash.  Strategically mounted cameras and photography will give the viewer the feel of what it might be like to be involved in a plane crash. This will be part of a new series called "Curiosity" which will most likely air in the fall.
• Adam and John joined us from Anytime Fitness to talk about the upcoming "Employee Fitness Month" and how your business can participate.

4/27/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• I had quite an afternoon yesterday.  My wife is away on family business for a while and I've been driving both cars.  I haven't driven her car in a couple of weeks because it had a broken tail light.  I finally got that fixed, but yesterday morning as I attempted to take her car to work, it wouldn't start.  So after work, I drove home and was going to jump start it.  In getting out of her car to get back to my car, I must have brushed the power lock, because the doors locked with the keys in the ignition and the radio running.  I called Princess and asked her if she knew where her spare key was and she gave me about thirty locations to look in.  Having turned the place upside down, I called Triple A, which sent somebody out to not only get the keys out but jump the car.  The moral of the story: If your wife is disorganized, it's always a good idea to have a Triple A membership.
• Last night on "American Idol", it was the release of Elise.

4/26/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Some residents of a Manhattan neighborhood are getting a little worked up over patrons of a nearby club that have sex in the backseat of their cars on their street. Their demanding the city ban street parking on weekends.  If the Hyundai is a rockin', don't come a knockin'.
• If you are a Packers shareholder, you won't be able to bring anyone with you to the annual shareholders meeting on July 24th.  The Packers say their new stock sale went so well and there are now so many shareholders, they want to make sure that everyone that is supposed to get in gets in.
• We talked to Paul from Menard's in Manitowoc about the 10,000 items they have on sale this weekend.  It's some sale!

4/25/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• When you fly, make sure that you take all of your loose change, put it in a sandwich bag and stick it in your bag.  Otherwise, it may wind up being the property of the TSA.  The TSA collected almost $410,000 in change left behind in collection bins nationwide. 
• Last night on "Dancing With The Stars", although Neither one of us wanted the first to say goodbye, Gladys Knight was put on the midnight train to Georgia. Packers star Donald Driver breezed through the elimination round again.

4/24/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• One of Mensa's newest members is a young lady from England with an IQ of 159.  She's four years old.
• Last night on Dancing With The Stars, it was a good night for Donald Driver, but a better night for Urkel. Wait, what?
• Greg Anderson dropped by with "Money Talks Tips and Traps" with a few post tax day facts about how your tax money is being spent.  You are probably not going to like it.  You will, however. love all of Greg's sage advice which you can get right here.

4/23/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Here's some free advice: If you have a surplus of weed to sell, it's often a good idea not to offer it to your former parole officer.  This guy obviously is headed back to jail and will not be passing go nor collecting $200.
• You computer may stop being able to log onto the Internet beginning in July thanks to a virus that may be hidden in it.  Here's how to check to see if your computer is clean. The virus basically alters your searches and takes your computer to an altered version of the Internet. The malicious DNS servers would give fake, malicious answers, altering user searches, and promoting fake and dangerous products. If this looks like a foreign language to you, ask your brother in law or your local computer professional.
• Adam and John from Anytime Fitness dropped by to tell us about a great new program called "Spring into Summer."

4/20/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• An Australian pilot landing in Singapore had to abort his landing because he was so busy text messaging, he forgot to put his wheels down.  I guess cell phones do interfere with the operation of an airplane after all.
• Last night on "American Idol", it was Colton Dixon's turn to go home as the field narrowed to six, four women and two men.
• Chef John from the Courthouse Pub in Manitowoc wants to remind you of their big fund raising event in support of the Manitowoc County Domestic Violence Center.  The big do is May 6 and you can get all the details here.

4/19/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Here's a memo to would be identity thieves: You are not going to get very far if you steal a credit card, then try to use it where the victim's son happens to be the cashier.
• What are the seven sandwiches of shame?  (Note: Content PG-13 to possible R)
• Entertainment legend Dick Clark has passed away yesterday at 82.  I never watched "American Bandstand" much because it conflicted with my playing sports schedule, but in the 80's you couldn't go anywhere without Dick Clark being around.  Whether it was "TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes", the "$10,000 Pyramid" the giveaway for American Family Publishers, being a young radio station employee that had to run one of his countdown shows or his New Year's Countdown, Dick Clark was truly an American icon. 

4/18/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Who among us wouldn't want to ride naked through a car wash?  Three men did just that in British Columbia, Canada.  They got off with just a warning.
• Last night on "Dancing With The Stars", Packers wide out Donald Driver lived to dance another day, while singer Gavin DeGraw went home.
• This morning we discussed colon cancer with Dr. Jon Potter of Prevea and St. Nicholas Hospital.  His nurse practitioner, Colleen Gumm, will discusses how colon cancer is almost entirely preventable by the colonoscopy screening on April 24th.  You can find out more here.

4/17/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• We all know donuts are bad for us, but these donuts are really, really bad.
• Last night on Dancing With the Stars, Packers wide out Donald Driver scored a 27, good enough for a tie for second place and a three point lead over Urkle.

4/16/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• An 87 year-old Swedish woman received a letter from the Swedish Tax Authority claiming that she was dead and that he relatives should settle her estate.  The woman was very much alive and called the Tax Authority.  The customer service rep she talked to, a Mr. Obvious, said she must be alive because she called.
• A woman in the UK channeled her inner Carrie Underwood by driving her (now former) boyfriend's car through the window of the bowling alley where he worked after she noticed he had changed his status to single on Facebook.
• Adam and John joined us from Anytime Fitness.  If you don't have your tax return earmarked for anything, they have a good idea on how you could invest it.

4/13/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Happy Friday the 13th.  I hope you don't have Paraskevidekatriaphobia.  If you do, stay at home with the covers over your head.
• Last night on American Idol, the judges used their one save to rescue Jessica Sanchez.
• Chef John from the Courthouse Pub in Manitowoc wanted to remind you of their big fund raiser for the Manitowoc County Domestic Violence Center called "A Walk on Hollywood Blvd."  Mr. DeMille, John is ready for his closeup!

4/12/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• A newly hired reporter for a Washington newspaper was so enamored with the lavish press releases the NBA issues that he created on to celebrate his hiring.  The newspaper was not amused and fired him.
• What will the most popular baby names of 2012 be?  How about Rue, Emmett, Ivy, Adele, Grayson, Aria and Cato?
• If you've ever thought about joining one of those class action lawsuits, beware.  A group suing Volkswagen had their claim thrown out of court because it was meritless.  However, the court allowed the lawyers to file an amended complaint so that they could collect $500,000 in fees.  The class says this is excessive and violates their agreement.  Seems like they might need a lawyer.

4/11/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• If you love the smell of bacon and plan on moving to New York City, we may have found you the perfect apartment.
• Last night on "Dancing With The Stars" "The View" co-host Sherri Shepard was told not to quit her day job.
• A couple of years ago, my wife, Princess, went to the Doctor with bad arm and shoulder pain.  The doctor discovered three degenerating (as in crumbling) vertebrae in her neck and told her she needed to undergo spinal fusion surgery. That's what we to talked to Dr. Jeff Jacoby about this morning.  Dr. Jacoby specializes in spinal fusion and is joining St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea on April 15th.

4/10/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Ever order a Big Mac ala carte?  It's about four bucks.  Here's how you can get one for a dollar.
• Last night on "Dancing With Stars" guess who had the highest score?  If you said Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, you'd be right.

4/9/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• This guy sounds like who I get stuck behind in line.  A Janesville man was taken into custody after being discovered sleeping in his car in a McDonald's drive through.  Police say he was drunk and that it was his fifth DWI,
• Mike Wallace, the former Sixty Minutes Interrogator passed away yesterday at 93.  It was once said that the four words that could strike fear into anyone were "Mike Wallace is here." Wallace was a graduate of Brookline, MA high school which boasts many renowned graduates including Barbara Walters and my dad.
• Adam and John joined us from Anytime Fitness to talk about how you can work out while you are at work.

4/6/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• It's opening day at Miller Park for the Milwaukee Brewers.  Here's what you need to know if you are going to the game.
• What songs get stuck in your head?  Here's a list from Maxim, including videos so that you can tempt fate.
• Chef John is back! This morning, we discussed the big event at the Pub on Sunday, May 6th, "A Walk on Hollywood Blvd."  It's a fund raiser for Manitowoc Domestic Violence Center. 4/5/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• As a dog owner, I know at least one thing to be true: Don't put anything of value where your dog can get to it.  While a Seattle man was out doing his last minute shopping before leaving for Augusta,his dog devoured the tickets.  So, he called the vet who told him what to do and a few minutes later the dog upchucked the tickets...well at least what used to be the tickets.  Fear not, now that he has proof, Augusta National will give him new tickets.
• The woman in Maryland who allegedly won part of the mega millions jackpot last week may or may not have actually won.  She claims she hid the tickets at the McDonald's where she works and now can't find them.  Some believe that she might be making the whole thing up for the publicity.
• One of the great traditions of Milwaukee is about to go away.  Very soon, Frontier Airlines, who bought Midwest Airlines a couple of years ago will discontinue serving in flight chocolate chip cookies.

4/4/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• A middle school in New jersey has banned hugging among students because the Principal says there was an outbreak of  "incidents of unsuitable, physical interactions."  Smiling, you are on the clock.
• Last night on "Dancing With The Stars", Donald Driver danced on, but Jack Wagner, not so much.
• Ever consider a hip or knee replacement?  If you think that might be a solution for you, you might want to get to know Dr. Kirk Dimitris, a new doctor at Prevea, St. Nicholas Hospitals partner.  We talked to him this morning and you can find out more about him here.

4/3/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• An 83 year-old woman is suing the Apple store in Long Island, New York because she walked into their glass doors and injured her face.  The woman claims the Apple logo on the door isn't sufficient warning that it's a door.  Perhaps the large handles and door frame might be.
• Last night on "Dancing With The Stars", Donald Driver continued to impress finishing with 26 of a possible 30 points.  Best of all, he's still ahead of Urkle.
• Greg Anderson joined us for "Money Talks Tips and Traps" and told us about some important changes in the tax code as you prepare to file your taxes.  Find all of Greg's sage advice here.

4/2/12-Here's what we talked about this morning:

• Charlie Sheen's new project "Anger Management" premiers in June on FX.  The part of Charlie's dad will be played by Charlie's dad (Martin Sheen).
• It was a big night at the ACM awards for the husband and wife duo of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.  Taylor Swift also won a big award as did Lady Antebellum.
• Adam and John from Anytime Fitness shared a big deal for the month of April with us...a $15 membership.
